Three New Audio Books
(Finally, right?) Folks have been asking about audio books and I tried creating books through Amazon’s ACX for Audible, but the talent I was working with disappeared in the middle of production and yours truly can only afford to do the royalty split production path for audio books at this time. I won’t go into the indie author end of that, but if you want to know more, email me. I’ll tell you all about how it works.
Google Play AI Audio Books
Google Play invited me to beta-test their new AI (artificial intelligence) audio book reader. So, I dove in with three of my titles. I’d love to be able to switch narration voices for the short stories, but alas, once you pick a reader, it’s consistent throughout the manuscript. I think it sounds pretty good, though. This is an amazing gift for an indie author like me to share my stories with those who are visually impaired or prefer listening.
Can’t Buy Books Right Now?
Don’t forget, if you can’t buy more books, audio books, ebooks, paperbacks, etc. (it’s been tough for everyone these last few years–I still don’t feel 100% do you?), and you share, borrow, or library them, please consider leaving a review on Amazon & Goodreads, and SHARE your love and joy of the book on your social media!!!! Tag the authors on that platform. I guarantee, you’ll make an author’s day. I’m always zooming with good feelings when I see a happy reader’s review!
Drop Me a Line?
Anyway, I thought I’d share the exciting news about the audio books. I’d love to hear from you, too. Do you listen to audio books, why or why not? Have you tried these new AI read books? What do you think? Are you against AI narrating books? Why or why not?
